Romig Community School is part of the Imagine Charter School program, located in Akron, OH. They are relatively new to the KidStar Radio Network. We are thrilled to have them aboard as part of the KidStar Radio Network.

EDOG Radio first began in july of 2009 at Imagine Romig Road Community School in Akron, Ohio. The original members who included Victoria, Montana, Jeremiah, Tayvia And Keyshaun were hand-picked by the Vice Principal Ms. Audrea Pettaway.
After producing recorded liners for the radio station, their adventures continued as they, interviewed Ramona Robinson of WKYC, Channel 3 in Cleveland, Ohio an NBC affiliate. Ms. Robinson in turn interviewed Montana and Jeremiah and EDOG Radio made the TV news.
Imagine School has over 530 students enrolled in Akron and when school started more students came to join them on the air. Their daily responsibilities include writing the morning announcements and coming to radio club after school.
During the fall of 2009 the student members of EDOG Radio had the opportunity to interview the President and CEO of Imagine Schools, Dennis Bakke and his wife Eileen Bakke. The children enjoyed hearing about Mr. Bakke’s idea to create 70 new Imagine Schools nationwide. They also appreciated hearing him talk about his national bestseller, “Joy At Work.”
