KidStar provides an opportunity where none otherwise would exist, where we can get kids involved at an early age and help mold their character and instill a value system that will let them build self esteem, have pride in their accomplishments while building excellent communication skills.

Every day the we hear in the news of more and more children in trouble... Kids killing Kids... Kids killing parents.. kids involved in drugs and alcohol, robberies and kids ending up on the streets as run-aways. We need to be able to redirect these kids in a positive manner, by making education fun.

KidStar does just that. This program especially reaches out to kids in homes in distress, such as single parent homes, homes that are financially challenged, homes where the parents themselves have issues with drugs and alcohol. There are also those kids with not necessarily bad home lives, but where they just have too much unsupervised time on their hands, which can also lead to trouble for them. KidStar engages these kids. They become excited about the world around them and creates a new hunger for knowledge. These kids are now reporting the news - not a news item.

In order to make this great program available to kids throughout the country and beyond, KidStar needs the help of our supporters, thus we have created the 100 Links in the Chain Donation Drive. The goal here at KidStar is to provide new KidStar Radio stations to 5,000 schools and youth clubs all around the US.

Make a modest donation of $100, and become a KidStar supporter. Your gift of $100 will be used help us bringKidStar to another school, club or youth organization. By foregoing your daily cup of coffee from the local coffee shop (average cost $4 a day) for just 5 weeks or cutting out some other small regular indulgence, you can help our kids of today have a better tomorrow through an education medium that they love!

First, make a donation. We're asking you to donate $100. It's as if you set aside $1 a day for kids for the next 100 days. This will provide a profound and positive change in the lives of our kids. Once you've made your $100 donation, you can immediately begin to access the Friends of KidStar area of our web site, a printable certificate for framing and your name will be included as supporter of our next KidStar online radio station in a school or youth club. All donated funds will be distributed directly to the KidStar Program to be utilized to build and support the new stations and the KidStar organization. Become part of that village by providing amazing opportunities to our kids. Most important, you'll know that you're doing something that really makes a difference in the lives of real kids... our kids... your kids.

Our need is urgent.
